LOPES DE CARVALHO, Camila  e  MATTEUSSI LINO, Carolina. School management in inclusive education: stricto sensu academic production in São Paulo / Brazil and a school reality. Rev. Educ. Espec. [online]. 2023, vol.36, e69202.  Epub 01-Dez-2023. ISSN 1984-686X.  https://doi.org/10.5902/1984686x69202.

The inclusion of students with disabilities in schools is consistent with the process of rebuilding management as a democratic, participatory and reflective action. That said, this study aimed to identify the state of the art on the theme of school management with a focus on the inclusive bias, associating academic production on this issue with the performance of the school manager. For this, a qualitative research was developed in two phases. In Phase 1, a systematic review was carried out with the analysis of academic productions of public stricto sensu postgraduate programs in São Paulo on the theme of school management in interface with educational inclusion. In Phase 2, a case study was designed by applying a questionnaire to a manager of a private school in a city from São Paulo, Brazil, with monitoring of his routine for 2 days a week, for 1 month, to observe aspects related to his performance. in the school inclusion process. Data analysis was performed by categorization associated with the Iramutec software. Academic research has proven to be an area of recent investigation, predominantly focused on qualitatively evaluating interviews through content analysis. Managerial actions, on the other hand, continued to be aimed at solving conflicts and bureaucratic actions, with weaknesses in initial and continuing education, not accessing academic research on the topic and presenting insufficient actions. It is essential to continue studies that guide managerial intervention, as well as teaching autonomy to pursue them.
