This article addresses the scientific-technological complex from the perspective of the relationships between work and education forged in the context of the crisis of contemporary sociability. In this sense, it challenges the dominant paradigms which support the myth of a technological, or knowledge social, questioning the apologetic discourse that advocates new information technologies as means of promoting social inclusion. It also reaffirms the need to overcome the barter of financial capital as a condition for scientific-technological development, which is geared towards full emancipation of humanity.
