This article is the fruit of teacher research linked to the Post Graduate Program - Master’s Degree in Education of the Dom Bosco Catholic University. The aim is to question the curriculum as a device for control in primary education, whether through the way evaluation is carried out, or through the way teachers understand the curriculum, producing frontiers of inclusion/exclusion. A qualitative methodology was used, and as the data collection tool, a semi-structured interview with basic education teachers. It discusses the school and the curriculum as a form of control which exercises a permanent vigilance over the whims, desires and temperaments of the pupils, producing frontiers of inclusion and exclusion.
