Abstract

SILVA, Luciana Ferreira; OLIVEIRA, Cinara Brito de  and  CRUZ, Lauane de Sousa. “Bonde das Debochadas”: the importance of black representation from the singular-particular-universal dialectic. Psic. da Ed. [online]. 2025, n.58, pp.90-99.  Epub June 23, 2025. ISSN 2175-3520.  https://doi.org/10.23925/2175-3520.2025i58p90-99.

The present work aims to analyze black representivity as a fundamental phenomenon in the process of identity construction, starting from an epistemological stance that seeks to confront at the same time the colonial dimension, intrinsic to the process of knowledge construction and the historical divisions in the field of psychology, which place the individual and society, and the individual and the collective, in opposition, using writing as a methodological tool and as a method of analysis the singular-particular-universal dialectic. Representivity proved to be an important mediation in collective experiences, enhancing the process of formation/transformation of the individual/society unit.

Keywords : black representivity; writing; psychology and ethnic-racial relations; blackness.
