This study looks at the actions of the Regional Psychology Councils (CRPs) of the Federal District (DF) and Mato Grosso do Sul (MS) to comply with Law 13.935/2019, which at the federal level guarantees the inclusion of psychologists and social workers in basic education. Using a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory method, interviews were conducted with representatives of the CRPs of the Federal District and Mato Grosso do Sul, and content analysis was applied to verify whether the actions of these Councils follow the guidelines of the Federal Council of Psychology (CFP). The actions were categorized into social communication campaigns; dialogues with public authorities, entities, the profession and society; and other actions. The study concludes that, despite the mobilizations, there are some obstacles, such as the lack of funding. The actions taken are significant, with most of the CFP's guidelines being complied with, but there is still a lot to be done to ensure that the law is fully implemented and, consequently, that psychologists are included in education policy.
