NASCIMENTO, Diego Ramos do; RIBEIRO, Carlos Henrique de Vasconcellos  y  PEREIRA, Erik Giuseppe Barbosa. Soccer and migration: the perspective of brazilian coaches at the exterior. Rev. Motriviv. [online]. 2019, vol.31, n.60, e59846.  Epub 05-Dic-2019. ISSN 2175-8042.  https://doi.org/10.5007/2175-8042.2019e59846.

The migratory flow in sports is defined as the entry / exit movement of athletes between countries. Causes and consequences are changeable and defined according to global characteristics. Although their importance in sports, coaches do not carry the same weight in this process. The objective of this study was to understand, from the actions of two renowned Brazilian soccer coaches, how the migratory process (s) is given. This is an observational qualitative study. Semistructured interviews about migratory flow questions were conducted with 2 Brazilian coaches of international experience. For analysis of the data, we support the Content Analysis proposed by Bardin. We conclude that the coaches view on the migratory flow in Brazilian soccer has different aspects of the athletes. The motivations were the professional challenge and new opportunities. Socio-cultural aspects were the main difficulties. In addition, a possible political segregation, lack of expressive results and absence of specific licenses close international doors for Brazilian coaches.
