This article exposes a report of the teaching experience with Gymnastics during the classes of school’s Physical Education. The didactic actions were organized in two public high schools, located in São Paulo. The teacher's records and the work done by the students were data sources for the description of the educational projects. Then, the text was the subject of a dialogue with another Physical Education teacher, so that there would be an interactive reflection on the pedagogical practice described. Diverse gymnastics practices (Rhythmic, Artistic, Acrobatic and Gymnastics for All) were taught by the teacher of a public teaching institution in the regular classes of Physical Education. This report aimed to align the academic discussions with the school reality, as well as to show Physical Education teachers examples of the development of the theoretical proposals.
