This is a review of the Spanish book Se necistan héroes - la estética del dolor/tourmalet, written by Brazilian Priscila Requião Lessa and by Spanish Miguel Ferrando Rochere, published by Editora La Caja Books in 2018. The theme addressed by the book stands out , mainly for the analyzes and reflections about the uses of aesthetics as an analytical tool of Sport, besides bringing elements of the applicability of sports through theater. Therefore, the work is of great relevance to the academic and scientific community, encouraging future productions about the most distinct body practices.
