BRAVALHERI, Rubens de Sousa. African culture in an interdisciplinary perspective: Physical Education in the body culture of movement. Rev. Motriviv. [online]. 2020, vol.32, n.63, e76910.  Epub 30-Oct-2020. ISSN 2175-8042.  https://doi.org/10.5007/2175-8042.2020.e76910.

Through interaction with different areas of knowledge, the student can learn better by understanding that the world is interdisciplinary. Thus, to develop the theme on African culture, an activity was carried out between Physical Education, History, Sociology and Art with high school students. To contextualize the theme, a bibliographic research was carried out and the activity was measured qualitatively. The activity consisted of creating a dance show in which the theme was Afrofuturism. While the students created the choreographies and experimented with the movements, the other subjects helped in the making of the clothes, creating the scenario with studies and debates so that they could learn more about the culture in question. The activity was well received by students who showed great interest during the process and after the conclusion of the event, showed great awareness of the topic addressed.
