The document presented is based on the results of an investigation carried out in the framework of a postdoctoral stay. It was carried out based on a qualitative documentary research, with the purpose of providing some references that would allow other perspectives, beyond the totalizing references, in the field of leisure studies, to recognize complexity as a constituent condition of our societies. Latin American. The motley leisure, then, as an alternative to deal with the condition of constitutive heterogeneity of our region.
