Abstract

OLIVEIRA, Ayra Lovisi; MOURAO, Ludmila Nunes; MAROUN, Kalyla  and  BRAGA, Aura Condé. Representation of undergraduate students on supervised curricular internship in the Physical Education degree. Rev. Motriviv. [online]. 2021, vol.33, n.64, e76907.  Epub Feb 25, 2021. ISSN 2175-8042.  https://doi.org/10.5007/2175-8042.2021e76907.

The research aimed to analyze the representations of undergraduate students on the contributions of the Supervised Curricular Internship (SCI) in the Physical Education Degree (EF) course. The data presented here was collected in the second semester of 2018 as part of a survey that followed the ECS of the EF degree for two years at a higher education institution. Based on the qualitative interpretative approach, a case study was carried out, and the techniques used were the document analysis and the interview. The results showed the prevalence of a bureaucratic character in SCI, with insufficient moments of reflections on the experiences, which points to a distance between the higher education institution and the school. However, graduates recognize the contributions of SCI in initial training despite the weaknesses and problems presented.
