Abstract

The study analyzes how Physical Education teachers from the Segundo Tempo Program in the city of Recife/PE understand the ludic in their pedagogical practice. Methodologically it was developed through a qualitative approach, from the hermeneutics-dialectic, the data being analyzed based on the content analysis. The results indicate that the teachers understand the ludic as a fun, pleasurable and joyful experience through games and play, despite the exclusively procedural presence of the ludic, that is, as a strategy for reaching goals beyond their own experience, like the learning sports values or skills. We conclude that it is necessary to understand that the experience based on the ludic should not necessarily seek some product, but the enjoyment of the process of the experience itself.
