GODOI, Marcos et al. Pedagogical practices that won the “Educador Nota 10” award: evidences of innovation in Physical Education?. Rev. Motriviv. [online]. 2021, vol.33, n.64, e81336.  Epub 01-Sep-2021. ISSN 2175-8042.  https://doi.org/10.5007/2175-8042.2021.e81336.

The literature has revealed examples of successful and innovative practices, but little is known about those that are awarded. Thus, the aim of this study was to analyze the pedagogical practices of the physical education teachers who won the Educador Nota 10 award. The methodology consisted of a multi-case study, with ten awarded teachers, five women and five men. The award’s organization produces videos with the winners’ practice, these were transcribed and analyzed based on the continued thematic analysis. The results revealed that the most addressed thematic units (contents) were sports, gymnastics and games. The pedagogical practices presented diversified teaching strategies, but with emphasis on the experimentation, reflection and re-elaboration of the content, the problematization of the content and the realization of a presentation of the project’s culmination. This research highlights an innovative, creative, diversified, meaningful physical education that seeks to articulate theory with practice.
