The present text aims to report the experience on the use of electronic games as an object of knowledge in elementary school, from the 3rd to the 5th year, during the pandemic period of COVID-19, considering the social distance and conducting synchronous classes remotely. As a methodology for mapping students' understanding of the topic, two questionnaires were used, a semi-structured one analyzed by the content analysis method by categories not a priori and the other closed structured. The main results achieved from this: expressive participation by students, identification of characteristics arising from the use of games, possibility of articulating knowledge and peculiarities of its use, in addition to the development of reframing and its adaptation.
