Abstract

This article has as aim at analyzing Productions by the Grupo de Trabalho Temático Comunicação e Mídia (GTT2) do Congresso Brasileiro de Ciências do Esporte (CBCE) on the theme representations about feminine body, media, and Physical Education. Thereunto, event proceedings from 2007 and 2017 were accessed. From 9 articles identified and analyzed on the problematizations: What is the aim and the methodology? What is the theoretical assumption used by the authors? What is the author’s position on the feminine body representations and the position of Physical Education before these representations? The research concludes that a little Productions approached this theme. Enlarging investigations is suggested to enable the overcome of the current conception of representation of the feminine body and its involvement in the bachelor's degree in Physical Education.
