This article socializes the actions of the Study and Research Group on Sports and Leisure Policies (GEPPOL) and its articulations with the Research area on Public Sports and Leisure Policies. In operation since 2011, the group aims to investigate themes and problems related to policies, programs, projects and practices in the area of sports and leisure policies, at different levels. Its development is effective in research projects, academic productions and direct participation in social actions involving public policies on sport and leisure. The results of the researches show that the group has approached several themes, thus producing and acting significantly in its specific area of knowledge.
