With a perspective directed towards educational literature, we present some “mirrors” which try to outline images concerning teachers and their work. There are many discourses and metaphors attempting to define the teachers’ work, but when do we listen to teachers regarding the daily constitution of their professionality? From this perspective, we intend to highlight evidences regarding the possibilities of the (self) biographical approach as a way in which teachers would be invited to describe the courses and the meanings of their personal/professional journey.
