This text refers to one of the aspects discussed in a research intended to learn from Problem Solving Methodology lessons during the undergraduate Pedagogy teaching practicum. One of the objectives was to verify the possibility of turning the apprenticeship into a kind of scientific initiation in which the students would develop some research skills. The process was followed and registered by the researchers/supervisors. In an exploratory-descriptive qualitative research, researchers’ registrations and students’ apprenticeship reports were discussed and analysed. As a result, the lessons learned confirmed the possibility of integrating teaching with research in the undergraduate courses, and thus contributing to the development of research skills and scientific spirit in order to built critical reflection, intellectually autonomous, over the own teaching practise that will play, in its turn, a relevant aspects for the development of the teacher researcher.
