Abstract

SILVA, Marcela Mara dos Santos; REIHN, Carolina; SOARES, Andressa  and  SOARES, Tufi Machado. The approach of large-scale educational assessment in undergraduate Pedagogy courses. R. Bras. Est. Pedag. [online]. 2016, vol.97, n.245, pp.46-67. ISSN 2176-6681.  https://doi.org/10.1590/S2176-6681/367313975.

In this study we present a survey related to the approach of large-scale educational assessment (LSEA) in Brazilian Pedagogy courses (face-to-face, public and private ones), as well as the perception of teachers and coordinators about the relevance of such approach. It concludes that a low number of higher education institutions that took part of this research do address contents related to LSEA. This occurrence should be taken into serious consideration since the teaching of this content has been established by specific legislation, regarding the undergraduate courses of Pedagogy. In general, there is a legal basis for the formulation of the curriculum of courses; also, most of the professionals surveyed consider that the content of LSEA be approached, besides; they follow the national and state results in order to insert them in the classroom.

Keywords : educational evaluation programs; higher education institutions; Pedagogy course.
