[online]. 2016, vol.97, n.246, pp.323-338. ISSN 2176-6681.  https://doi.org/10.1590/S2176-6681/382313934.

This paper aims to analyze the relationships among Science, Technology and Society (STS) in texts of scientific divulgation (TSD) produced by students of Biological Sciences, based on practical classes at laboratories. For that purpose, TSD were selected from a professor's personal collection, written by students from a public university over seven years. These documents were examined according to the content analysis and revealed a timid discussion in relation to social, historical and ethical questions regarding the scientific and technological knowledge, despite presenting diversified characteristics, the descriptions of internal procedures of science, the application of science in daily life and the connection between fields of science have stood out.

Keywords : scientific divulgation; Science and Technology; practical classes.
