Abstract

PULIDO, Josefa Rodriguez. Internationalization and integral management in higher education institutions: current view and implications. R. Bras. Est. Pedag. [online]. 2018, vol.99, n.253, pp.649-658. ISSN 2176-6681.  https://doi.org/10.24109/2176-6681.rbep.99i252.3750.

Internationalization and integral management are ideas that must be incorporated in the tasks of universities. To develop these notions, Europe, America and other continents have been implementing strategies for decades. Thus in higher education institutions, this process ought to be developed in each and every field of knowledge and academic subject covered in the courses there taught. An excellent handling through management is key to reach the set targets. This paper offers an overview of the implications and the internationalization categories, as well as some considerations on the meaning of integral management and the integral processes of institutionalization that the higher education institution must undertake.

Keywords : management; internationalization of education; university.
