Abstract

LIMA, José Ossian Gadelha de  and  LEITE, Luciana Rodrigues. Teaching internship as a formative tool for the post-graduation student: an experience report. R. Bras. Est. Pedag. [online]. 2019, vol.100, n.256, pp.753-768. ISSN 2176-6681.  https://doi.org/10.24109/2176-6681.rbep.100i256.3986.

This work presents the results of an analysis of the experience of a MSc student during her teaching internship, which ran in the second semester of 2015, at the disciplines Supervised Internship I, II and III, taught to High School, for the undergraduate Chemistry course of a university in Ceará. The phases of the experience and some reflections on the learnings, aspirations, and formative perspectives of the post-graduation student are reported here, with basis on the available literature in this field of knowledge. The results show that the contributions of the experience were important for the professional development of the MSc student, albeit insufficient. This reveals that, in the context of the stricto sensu post-graduation, there is a pressing need for curricular components that would allow the development of a more intensive dialogue between the theoretical part of the course and the training for teaching in higher education.

Keywords : professional training; post-graduation student; teacher training.
