Analyze the ways to manifest it undertaken by teachers and residents of the city of Juiz de Fora at the beginning of the Republic is the objective of this study. The actions of these subjects are important evidence of perception, from the experience of each and of the relationship between them in the space of the city, from the best way to act and take what they want. The use of the requirements sent to City Chamber, the use of journalistic press and the undersigned produced by residents consist of sources of proposed study and constitute a set of actions that represents the public voice in defense of a cause.
