CECILIO, Sálua  e  ARAUJO, Denise Olivieira Silva. Professores e tecnologias digitais no ensino superior: tendências de uso e implicações para a subjetividade de professores. Roteiro. UNOESC [online]. 2013, vol.38, n.02, pp.337-364. ISSN 2177-6059.

This article deals with university teachers’ work, in the context of digital life. The purpose is to perceive how digital technologies are understood andappropriated by teachers in their work and what results from that for the designing of their subjectivity. Of a qualitative approach, the investigation is based on interviews with teachers of, Higher Education in Uberaba, MG. The material was analyzed according to the guidance given by Content Thematic Analysis. Digital technologies are used as a tool and are not indispensable for the development of teaching activities. Due to their use, the secondarization of the teacher in the teaching- learning process is feared by some. The teachers showed that they had their own understanding concerning the influence of digital technologies in their lives. However, in spite of Internet and the computer being present in the daily lives of most of the teachers, its pedagogic appropriation is still insufficient.
