This article aimed to discuss the teachers perception of the early years of elementary teaching of state public about the external evaluation in the context of the Quality Plan of the School, presented by the Secretary of Education of the State of São Paulo (SEE/SP). It investigated, through semi-structured interviews and documentary analysis, how teachers relate to assessment policies on a large scale and the impacts of this type of assessment on the teaching work. It concluded that the discourse of the teachers about the evaluation on a large scale is deeply impacted by the bonus policy per results ndertaken by SEE/SP, which affects the professional exercise and produces new subjectivities and modes of relating to the profession.
