Abstract

This essay is a qualitative bibliographic research that aimed to discuss the concept of truth in the teaching of Philosophy, with focus on the importance of the aesthetic dimension in contrast to the formal dimension of the concept of truth. Nevertheless, could truth be taught through art? Even more than that, according to Nietzsche, is it really possible to talk about truth, even in terms of aesthetics? In fact, for Nietzsche, the truth cannot be surely limited to an absolute and ultimate dimension. Those issues guided the current essay, which starts doing a literature review and, following that, it is discussed the concept of truth, including its impacts to the teaching of Philosophy.
