TEDESCHI, Sirley Lizott  and  PAVAN, Ruth. The foundations of modern education under suspicion: the post-structuralist criticism and the production of identities differences. Roteiro. UNOESC [online]. 2015, vol.40, n.2, pp.357-376. ISSN 2177-6059.  https://doi.org/10.18593/r.v40i2.6527.

The paper analyzes the foundations of modern education and the implications in the production of the identities and differences of the subjects. Has referred to the post-structuralist theoretical field and understands that education in modernity incorporates the concept of epistemic subject and pedagogy method and teaching techniques. It refers to studies of Nietzsche and Foucault in an attempt to think of education as the productive nature of power, their relationship to knowledge and the production of identities and differences. These authors make it possible to challenge the hegemonic identities produced by modern rationality showing its constitution in the cultural and social world and opening spaces for the creation of other subjectivities, other identities, other differences.
