This article proposes to dialogue with the philosophical-aesthetic and formative reflections of Walter Benjamin, Theodor Adorno and Guimarães Rosa on the problematic of "violence and education", with a view to problematizing and facing violence as barbarism, which passes by social and educational relations in the current framework of domination and hegemony of the neoliberal capitalist system. In order to carry out this course, the text intends to follow the steps: Violence in the elementary school; Walter Benjamin and the critique of violence; Violence in the writings of Theodor Adorno; Violence as a pure mean in "A Benfazeja", by Guimarães Rosa; Divine violence in the students’ formation.
