The main objective of this text sought to discuss the financialization of capital in higher education for profit in Brazil, from 2007 to 2014. The three case studies, by Anhanguera, Estácio and Kroton, are part of a broader process of global financialization of capital, in the last 50 years. To make the work feasible, a qualitative analysis was carried out, through bibliographic research, documentary research and case studies. By analyzing the operational and financial data, it was possible to see the important growth for all of them. Through important partnerships, such as those carried out with the Private Equity Funds, the Public Fund, mergers and acquisitions, its consuming public, together with the success in the corporate management of the companies, there was an almost constant share appreciation on the stock exchange, in a short space of time.
