MARCOLLA, Valdinei  e  MORO, Tatiele Bolson. ICT in school: an analysis of their appropriation according to teaching practices. Roteiro [online]. 2021, vol.46, e23875.  Epub 26-Fev-2021. ISSN 2177-6059.  https://doi.org/10.18593/r.v46i.23875.

This paper analyzes how appropriation of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) takes place in teaching practices. The text presents arguments that when ICT are inserted in an educational context, they become important devices that enable both the development and transformation of the subjects and their teaching practices in school. So that this can happen, these technological devices have to become part of the school process, incorporated as part of the school material, what tends to be quite significant in the technology appropriation process, that is, in making something (technology) your own. The research is based on assumptions of qualitative approach and case study, using document collection, direct class observation and semi-structured interviews in an attempt to diagnose what the reality is at the Institution and the Program aim of this study. The interviews were carried out with teachers at a high school with focus on professional education for young adults and adults. The results point at different uses of ICT in school practices and they can be summed in three categories: technology as a tool, technology as a school subject, and technology as movement.
