This paper analyzes 9th graders' social representations of school indiscipline. The theoretical background is based on the dimensional approach (Moscovici, 2012), interpreted under the light of the moral development studies (Piaget, 1994). The methodology is qualitative, with content analysis. The information was collected through interviews (N=64) conducted at three basic education state schools in Ponta Grossa (Paraná State, Brazil). Their script was prepared based on the successive screening of evocations raised in a previous phase of investigation on the structural approach to school indiscipline. The data was analyzed with the aid of content analysis. The results point to causal representations, linked to the representations of teachers, with the predominance of a heteronomous morality which is also marked by parroting characteristics.
