Abstract

This article has the purpose of identifying in Hannah Arendt's literature, through a literature review of her main publications, concepts that explains how the author understands education, the educational crisis and the relationship between learning and the human condition, relating the author's concepts with the discussion regarding the subjects constitution processes - whether they are begginer teachers or students in learning processes. Arendt (1906-1975) was never a thinker specialized in education, she devoted most part of her career to political thinking - however, her concern about the American educational system, in the 20th century, motivated her to observe the matters that surrounded that crisis, mainly because it propitiates an investigation of its essence.
