Abstract

The article analyzes the impacts of the certification from the National High School Exam (ENEM) in the teaching and learning processes of Young Adults and Adults Education. The discussion had as theoretical basis the studies of authors such as Michael Apple, Stephen Ball, Leoncio Soares, and other researchers who are reference in the field of sociology of education and education policy, curriculum, teaching and adults and young adults education. This framework was used to discuss one of the themes found: the teaching and the process of disqualification and depreciation of learning and teaching. It was noticed that this educational policy for young adults and adults education has been spreading senses and accountability meanings of what teaching and learning is about, and it can change the constitution of curriculum practices and organization in the teaching of young adults and adults.
