Considering possible effects of the experience of interaction between cinema and the contents of History, when the film is screened and debated in classes, the work aims to problematize this relationship in order to create a space so that the students can think and discuss about the films, the themes in class and the world views that circulate there. From the follow-up of students from a private school, we sought to analyze this experience shifted its view of history, itself, the other and the world, beyond the classroom. The analysis was based on three markers, namely ‘repertoire’, ‘sensitization’ and ‘denaturation of the eyes’, in relation to the films shown, and the three articulated and non-dissociated. The purpose was to create a space for listening and dialogue that would allow us to identify changes in ways of seeing the world and building meaning related to the themes by the film in the history classes.
