The purpose of this article is to problematize Artificial Intelligence (I.A.) in the context of education, especially in the perspectives placed on teaching, learning, and teaching work. For the development of this bibliographic work, we seek to develop scientific arguments and problematizations to dialogue with the issue. In more depth, we seek to understand how the I.A. directs the ideas and proposals about the position or even reconfiguration of the teaching work. We analyze the discourses present in the development of the I.A. focused on open and free training, mediated by technologies and the internet. We also sought to problematize the implications of the I.A. in the teaching work, especially in what it implies in the change in its work and its formation since such technological development complexifies the teaching by including the tool and the programming language in the daily work of the teacher.
