Abstract

This text focuses on the analysis of a collective development memorial named Armazém de Momentos (Warehouse of Moments), elaborated by seven elementary school teachers. The objective of the study was to investigate how working with narratives, in a formative context, could enhance and reveal individual and collective development movements. Theoretical dialogues were established with (1) authors who investigate research-action-development centered on narratives, especially on life stories, with the support of the use of memorial; (2) as well as with authors who address the concept of symbol and individuation process and reflexive group formation process, from the perspective of Analytical Psychology. The analysis of the narratives that constitute the Armazém de Momentos made it evident that the elaboration of a collectively written memorial by teachers fosters singular and collective development paths, with points of approximation and also of tensions, mediated by the use of language and by the selection of symbols that were built along the journey.
