This article aims to investigate the work of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, to discuss some concepts os schizoanalysis that can contribute to research in human sciences. The method carried out was a literature review and analysis of all published work by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, and some articles and books of commentators and Brazilian researchers on cartography, in order to search for concepts that could provide clues for the discussion about the research method. We found several concepts that can contribute to research in human sciences and education. We selected three for analysis: cartography, haptic perspective, and the logic of intensities. We conclude that a schizoanalytic research method operates more like an opening plan, under construction, with a twisting of the sensitivity and the overture to the intensities that break out, instead of focusing only on totalized systems and the rates of frequency of appearance of a certain phenomenon or element.
