Abstract

SANTOS, Dayanna Louise Leandro dos; SANTOS, Thomas Cardoso Bastos  and  DIAS, Alfrancio Ferreira. BETWEEN CROSSROADS AND TRENCHES: AN ANALYSIS OF TRANSMASCULINES ESCREVIVÊNCIA BASED ON THE POEM “TRANS-PARTO”. Práx. Educ. [online]. 2022, vol.18, n.49, e10896.  Epub June 20, 2022. ISSN 2178-2679.  https://doi.org/10.22481/praxisedu.v18i49.10896.

Literary production has been, hegemonically, a territory of reiteration of norms and legitimation of certain ways of being and existing, reserved for the “other” the supporting role with outcomes demarcated by tragedy. On the other hand, this field has also been disputed by productions that seek to build other narratives, repositioning bodies considered subaltern in (and beyond) literary pages. Understood not only as art, but also as a language permeated with an ideological nature, literature creates fiction and produces memory. Based on this principle, the work aims to analyze the construction of transmasculine narratives from the poem “Trans-parto”. Written by Bruno Santana, the work looks at the author's transition processes as a black transmasculine body. With reference to the studies produced by Santana (2021a), Peçanha (2021) Evaristo (2017), we will discuss the discursive potential present in this literary (un)making by presenting other forms of masculinities, thus confronting one of the pillars of literary canons: cisnormativity.

Keywords : escrevivência; education; transmasculinities..
