The most frequent problem in the educational practice of teaching the millennial history of Abya Yala, is to show the continuity of the cultural aspects of the original civilizations with the contemporary world. The modern epistemology with which the ancient history of Abya Yala is studied shows that the history of the original civilizations of the continent is a cultural world that modernity (started in 1492) has overcome. The proposal is to move from an interpretation of colonial history to an interpretation of the history of the place of enunciation of the oppressed and geopolitically placing under the center-periphery scheme the spatiality of the development of the original civilizations, always based on material evidence. archaeological investigations.
