This article aims to elucidate issues related to contemporary ecological, anthropological and social thinking related to Political Ecology and Environmental Justice, as well as the case of the communities of Oriximiná - PA that bring to the heart of the discussions a deep critique of the dominant paradigms of knowledge And environmental education itself. The study confers the importance of research on the subject since political ecology is established in the space that is the conflict, the dispute for the reappropriation of nature and culture, where nature and culture resist the imposition of values ​​and processes - symbolic, ecological , Epistemological, political - as they become in terms of market values.Understanding the importance of these ethnic groups that inhabit the banks of the Trombetas - PA, distributed in lakes and streams, linked to “holes” and “Paranans” - a local characteristic of this hydrographic system, undoubtedly refers us to a The antecedents and the tradition of occupation developed by them on their forms of integration and management, besides interventions in the field - in which they are structured in a complex system of social organization around economic and cultural practices that are particular to them. From the mocambos, a term used in the nineteenth century to the present day, with the characterization of the term traditional communities, the path taken by the black peoples of this region was related to the conquest of justice and equality of rights: The law on the land historically conquered. The right over its black specificity, the deep root of its culture. The right to reproduce their agricultural and extractive way of life on the bases of territoriality granted with ecological management, translated by the preservation, attested in the two hundred years of existence in the Place.
