Abstract

KROETZ, Ketlin  and  FERRARO, José Luis Schifino. The governmentality as analytical tool in Michel Foucault. Conjectura: filos. e Educ. [online]. 2019, vol.24, e019005.  Epub July 31, 2020. ISSN 2178-4612.  https://doi.org/10.18226/21784612.v24.e019005.

The present article aims to discuss the governamentality proposed by Michel Foucault as an analytical tool to be used in researches of the educational field. Considering its archaeological and genealogical tradition by breaking with a historiographical continuum perspective on behalf of a historical discontinuity, it provides another look about events beyond the traditional linear narratives of the facts, becoming an analytical of the conditions of possibilities to the emergence of other ways to (re)think and act on history. Therefore, the governamentality allow us to examine, within discursive organizations, new forms of political rationality and their respective technologies of government from knowledge production in its articulation with power relations that, in a practical sense, act on subjectivation processes.

Keywords : Governmentality; Analytical tool; Education.
