Abstract

The paper discusses the teaching work in higher education institutions, from the changes in the higher education conjuncture marked by the process of capital globalization, the neoliberal offensive after the crisis of 2008 and the productive restructuring, leading to the ruin of social rights conquered, besides of the process of commercialization and productivism in this space that has led to teaching work foreign elements to education, such as meritocracy, the fulfillment of goals, the quantitative evaluation of science and that seems to have stimulated intra and extra-institutional competition.
