Abstract

FAGHERAZZI, Onorato Jonas  and  HENNING, Paula Correa. About a possible discovery context of heuristics intuition: an interpretation of The Structure of Scientific Revolutions by Thomas Kuhn. Conjectura: filos. e Educ. [online]. 2020, vol.25, e020004. ISSN 2178-4612.  https://doi.org/10.18226/21784612.v25.e020004.

In the development analysis of history and philosophy of science, we are faced with a question: would there be a favorable context for the possible emergence of intuition or would it be completely devoid of chances of being promoted? Leaving aside old theories which defended intuition came from gods, or others that did not leave room to favor it, we join Kuhn (2009) in the defense of a possible link to it. It is a conjuncture of factors presented as central elements in the transition from normal to revolutionary science. The problematics, criticality, the thought experiment and philosophical thinking are some factors that do not guarantee a strictly logical way to reach intuition. Although there are no pre-determined steps for reaching intuition, we cannot ignore indirect ways that can foster it.
