HENNING, Leoni Maria Padilha  y  OLIVEIRA NETO, Genipo Soares de. Consequences of formative models: between modern and post-modern. Conjectura: filos. e Educ. [online]. 2020, vol.25, e020029. ISSN 2178-4612.  https://doi.org/10.18226/21784612.v25.e020029.

This article can be justified as a brief overview of the debate between modernity and postmodernity in its implications for the field of human education, in the face of the emergence of a new humanity, as the result of late capitalism with its unfulfilled promises, before the colonization of all spheres, including education itself. Thus, the work seeks to trace some contours of the complex link between modernity and postmodernity, as well as the conception of a decadent man, on the one hand, and an emergent man, on the other, in face of this new generational condition. For this, the work consists of a research of conceptual theoretical methodology proposing as a contribution to the recurrent questioning about the relevance of the metanarratives in human formation, taking as “stellar” authors Kant and Nietzsche, justifying even a kind of prehistory of the debate between metanarratives. Hence, therefore, the conceptual choices of this article, which was based on assemblages that enabled the defense of an inherently creative, vitalist conception as a discipline of thought indispensable to humanity that wants beyond mere erudite reproduction, marketing cynicism or, still, of the techno-scientific designs and materialistic-deterministic rudeness that surround the present time. Therefore, the article suggests that the new paradigm under construction, when based on a new logic, allows us, considering the criticisms of modernity, to open possibilities to a new ethical horizon that considers man in its integrity. That is, a “peninsular subject” (which lives between the biological and the cultural areas) and not as modernity dreamed as an “insular” man, considered as a supernatural being, uprooted from the body and nature.
