The article presents a theoretical study about Gert Biesta’s thought, philosopher and Dutch educator, international known as a reference on Critical Pedagogy. The main objective of this article is to discuss the concept learnification, created by the author and after translated as “aprederismo”. It is considered an important reference to guide studies and practice in order to problematize the dominant educational speech. As a methodology it presents a complementary procedure for the bibliographic studies, such as the video analyses related to the speeches given by the author on YouTube. Based on the Discursive Textual Analyses (Análise Textual Discursiva – ATD), the three videos had been used as study objects, namely: “Good Education in the age of Measurement”; “Being home in the world” and the Beautiful Risk of Education. The videos are related respectively to the speeches given by the author at different educational events between 2013 and 2017, during six years in a roll and with two years between each speech. This study brought a broader comprehension of the concept, which complexity had been explained from four key words: measurement, qualification, commercialization and self-centeredness. Each key word gives a clue to understand the concept as well as suggests the continuity of the studies about the author’s thought. This way, the final words present questions in order to develop the study inviting people to dialogue. As a conclusion, we reaffirm the importance of Biesta’s thought and how important it is to understand the concept learnification/aprenderismo, having it as a meaningful contribution to guide studies on the critical pedagogy in order to think and develop a good education in the age of measurement.
