HABOWSKI, Adilson Cristiano  e  RATTO, Cleber Gibbon. Playing as a control mechanism of space, time and body in Friedrich FröebelJugar como mecanismo de control del espacio, el tiempo y el cuerpo en Friedrich Fröebel. Conjectura: filos. e Educ. [online]. 2023, vol.28, e023011. ISSN 2178-4612.  https://doi.org/10.18226/21784612.v28.e023011.

The essay is concerned with showing how educational ideals were manifested in relation to games in modernity, identifying Fröebel as the main theoretical reference in this context. We will see in Fröebel how important the ideas of play are for society and modern schools, and how they can function in the modes if subjectivation is childish. Fröebel emphasizes the need to organize daily life in a structured way, starting from daily life, which involves all the activities of children in the school institution, which reveals a concern with time. The stricter the programming, the more control you have over the bodies. Thus, space and time are formed in modes of control of play. The more space is defined, the more we can monitor them, observe how they play, how they manifest and react. In this movement, space, time and the body need to be made the most of so that the activities are efficient and performed optimally. These ritualized and mechanically executed operations to order everyday life through routines seek to print programmatic practices of normalization. Thus, we can understand the routine of childhood as a process of rationalization, used by subjects and institutions to structure and control life, becomes part of daily life. At the end of the essay, we made an attempt to think of playing as a form of resistance to disciplinary forms, showing that, where there is power (ways of conducting play as something that has a pedagogizing purpose) there is resistance (playing as an act of fruition, without utility), pointing out about the depedagogization of the act of playing.
