Conjectura: filos. e Educ. [online]. 2023, vol.28, e023032. ISSN 2178-4612. https://doi.org/10.18226/21784612.v28.e023032.
We present an experience of coexistence between a teacher and her students acting in partnership and legitimacy, in which learning emerges from a flow of coordination of recursive actions. The text constitutes a cartographic narrative that “maps” the flow of actions and movements related to coexistence. To explain this experience, we used the Theory of the Biology of Knowing, proposed by Humberto Maturana and Francisco Varela, particularly with the concepts of coexistence, coordination of recursive actions, structural coupling and autopoiesis. In this theoretical perspective, learning is an intersubjective process that happens in experience, in coupling with the structure of the subject and the environment. The openness to the flow of actions, the partnership between teacher and students, in legitimacy, are aspects that allowed the emergence of experiences with the potential to trigger autopoietic movements related to the processes of teaching and learning. Among them, meditation, thought here from the concept of enation, and liberating conversation stand out, which offers principles to trigger selfobservation and self-transformation movements. Finally, through the cartographic narrative, we present some clues to pedagogical practices articulated to the principles presented. We understand that the mission of educating, from this point of view, is a great task, which implies in having faith and love for life in its different dimensions, an attitude that can contribute to the emergence of a new planetary consciousness, which sustains living and knowing it based on another form of being and of being in human experience.
