Abstract

WANDERLEY, Albaneide Fernandes  and  SOUSA, Allanny Kelly de. Proposal for a didactic game with Braille transcription for learning the periodic table. Rev. Ensino Ciênc. Mat. [online]. 2023, vol.14, n.3, a13. ISSN 2179-426X.  https://doi.org/10.26843/rencima.v14n3a13.

Most education networks feel unprepared to serve students with disabilities, whether due to a lack of infrastructure or adequate professional training. This work aimed to propose a game about the periodic table for teaching Chemistry, from an inclusive perspective, suitable for students with visual impairments. The game included the production of 40 (forty) chemical element cards, 40 (forty) cards containing questions about the periodic table, 1 (one) legend card and the periodic table, all information was transcribed into Braille. The rules involve the formation of two sets of cards, with elements from the same group, conditioned on correct answers. The game was called Trinca dos Elementos, the negative rule was used to transcribe it into Braille. The game was applied to a chemistry degree class and a young person with visual impairment, who certified its efficiency, characterizing it as a didactic game. From the analysis of the application of the game Trinca dos Elementos, there was a greater understanding of the content.
