SILVA, Kátia Augusta Curado Pinheiro Cordeiro  and  SANTOS, Quérem Dias de Oliveira. HISTORICAL SENSES IN THE MAKING OF A PROJECT FOR TEACHER EDUCATION AND TRAINING. Hist. Educ. [online]. 2021, vol.25, e101992.  Epub Sep 30, 2021. ISSN 2236-3459.  https://doi.org/10.1590/2236-3459/101992.

This work is the result of bibliographic research on contemporary pedagogical thought. Historical meanings of Brazilian education that have constituted a school / education project, and the historical marks of being a teacher, are inquired. Our goal is to investigate, in political and pedagogical thinking of Brazilian education, which aspects of education determine both an educational project and a teaching project. Both Brazilian education historicity and of what it means to be a teacher make it possible to understand how the present enables the making of a social and emancipatory project.

Keywords : Education project; Historicity; Meaning of education and of being a teacher; Teaching work.
