Abstract

RUFINO, Luiz. PEDAGOGY OF THR CROSSROADS Exu as Education. Rev. Exitus [online]. 2019, vol.9, n.4, pp.262-289.  Epub May 15, 2020. ISSN 2237-9460.  https://doi.org/10.24065/2237-9460.2019v9n4id1012.

Exu in the Yoruba culture and its multiple inscriptions in the African diaspora emerges as a world explanatory principle about event, communication, language, invention, corporeity and ethics. In this sense, considering that the domains of the orixá are also common to the educational phenomenon, we can, from an enunciative spin, envision an education referenced by it. Thus, in the emergence of educational processes and anti-racist and decolonial curricular propositions, it is the hand of the pedagogy of the crossroads, a political/epistemological/ethical project that has Exu as a theoretical/methodological foundation. Thus, understanding that decoloniality constitutes itself as an action and demands other presences, knowledge and grammars, this article invests in a critique of the colonial works that regiment education not as emancipatory practice, but as a way regulation. The reflection also invests in the appointment of other possibilities of problematization of education, from historically produced ethical/aesthetic benchmarks as not credible by the dominant reason and its knowledge policies.
